Our 7 Principles: A Holistic Framework for Vocal Education
At Vocology in Practice (ViP), our mission is to empower voice professionals and singers through a well-rounded, science-informed, and artistically supportive approach.
Central to this mission are our 7 Principles, a comprehensive framework that guides all our educational resources and inspires our teachers to deliver teaching that supports the whole singer.
These principles serve as touchstones for every lesson, resource, and mentorship interaction we offer. They encourage voice teachers to consider not just the mechanics of singing, but the full context in which a singer grows—technically, artistically, emotionally, and professionally.
Whether you're a seasoned voice teacher or an emerging vocal coach, these principles help shape a balanced, flexible, and ethical approach to voice education. They’re not rules—they’re foundations for thoughtful, responsive, and impactful teaching.
