Mental Health Awareness to Support Singer Wellbeing
Presented by Henri Saha
Wednesday, Jan 28
12:00pm PT (60 minutes)Â
This is a live online workshop, held via Zoom. Please only register if you can attend in real time.
We’re opening this workshop to 10 members of our email list, at no cost.Â
Singers bring more than their voices into the room — they bring nerves, pressure, confidence issues and emotional blocks. Â
This session gives vocal coaches the tools to recognise when a student may be struggling with their Mental Health and well-being and how to handle sensitive moments with confidence. In this one-hour workshop, you’ll learn:Â
- Key mental health challenges people face
- Early signs of stress, anxiety, and burnout
- How to check in safely without becoming a therapist
- Simple strategies to protect your own wellbeing
Â
Henri Saha has worked in the field of psychology for over 13 years across academic, clinical, and performance contexts. Alongside this, he is a songwriter, musician, and singer, allowing his work to sit at the intersection of music, psychology, and wellbeing.
Henri has lectured at universities in psychology, research methods, and statistics, worked with adults living with enduring mental health challenges in the social care sector, and supported athletes in performance psychology contexts. This work has focused on developing confidence, managing performance anxiety, responding effectively to mistakes, and performing consistently under pressure.
He also previously served as Head of Mental Health & Wellbeing at Vitality Health Insurance, where he delivered wellbeing sessions to more than 10,000 people and supported hundreds of organisations to strengthen their approach to staff mental health.
As a practising musician himself, Henri understands the realities of creative and performance life. This enables him to bring psychological insight that is both evidence-based and directly relevant to musicians—making his work particularly valuable for creatives looking to support their mental health and perform at their best.
